MINNEAPOLIS — Snow is falling, wind is blowing and planes are sitting on the tarmac at MSP. According to officials with MSP, departures are delayed an average of 189 minutes due to snow and/or ice.

Winter storm and blizzard warnings are in place across Minnesota, leading to flight delays and cancellations at MSP. Heavy snowfall and strong winds are expected to create difficult travel conditions.
