CROWN POINT — A 65-year-old local man died as a result of a crash early Friday at the intersection of 145th Avenue and Iowa Street, according to the Lake County Coroner’s Office.

CROWN POINT — An Indiana State Police trooper was injured early Sunday when his vehicle was struck by a driver alleged to be twice the legal limit for drinking and driving, the department reported.
