This 1971 AMC Javelin Trans-Am Tribute Race Car (currently live on BaT) is powered by a 5.0-liter AMC V8. It consists of a 360ci AMC block with a custom crankshaft with a 2.85″ stroke. The build also includes forged 6″ Chevy rods and custom forged Diamond 4.125″ pistons giving a compression ratio just under 13:1. A dyno sheet shows that the car produced a peak of 563 horsepower at 7,500 rpm and more than 500 horsepower above 6,400 rpm, plus torque figures above 400 lb-ft from 5,500 rpm to 7,400
