The heel is a key area for movement. It should have the option of rolling forwards and backwards (dorsiflexion & plantar flexion), side to side (inversion & eversion) and rotating internally and externally. Achilles pain and pinching in the front of the ankle can be an indicator of restrictions through these joints in the rear foot. It’s often the case when I have a client with knee pain. If one joint lacks movement, joints further up the chain must then work harder. #kneepain #footpainrelief #h
