28 reactions | Shell yeah, it's #ReptileAwarenessDay!  This Western Painted Turtle came in recently with an injured neck, but after a week of care (and mealworms galore), they’re back to basking in the wild.  These turtles are British Columbia’s only native freshwater species, often spotted sunbathing on logs or rocks in calm ponds and lakes.
