Hooking up your 5th wheel is pretty simple, but it definitely needs to be done correctly. Here is how we hitch up our Companion Hitch ✅️ Open the swing arm, which opens the jaws ✅️ Get centered to back your truck in so the kingpin and hitch are aligned. ✅️ Adjust your trailer height so the pinbox will just meet the hitch head plate. You might notice ours is not greased. We use a lithium grease plate that attaches directly to the pin box ✅️ Open your tailgate and slowly back up until the king pin
