We released an adult, male loggerhead sea turtle, nicknamed “Steve”, back into the Gulf of Mexico, after successful recovery at Mote’s Sea Turtle Rehabilitation Hospital 🐢🎉 “Steve” was outfitted with a satellite tag by Anna Maria Island Turtle Watch, which provides vital conservation information. “Steve” washed ashore in Lee County in March and was transported to the Hospital.
