This week TDCJ began introducing tablets at select correctional facilities. The Henley State Jail in Dayton was the first in the system to receive secure tablets which deliver educational, vocational, religious, and legal materials along with messaging and numerous other programs. Securus is providing tablets at no cost to the inmate or the state. In addition to Henley, the Kyle and Kegans units were also apart of the rollout this week.
